Funny thing, I actually got the last one from the US Amazon site. It was fulfilled by Amazon too so I got free shipping due to my Prime membership. It's amazing what you can get on Amazon these days.

I will be honest Heritage is one of my favourite albums from them to date. It gets so much hate because it has the Opeth name but the album is sublime.

The next album won't be heavy either. It will be "more intense" from what I have read, so I am picturing songs like "Hessian Peel" and the like, but I could be way off. I would love a Watershed part 2.

Got another little trinket today. I've been curious about this in terms of using it as a stand-alone bluetooth joystick for my iPad/iPhone. Works really well actually. Pair it with a tv-out cable and it's rather nice. I brought my smaller 13" PVM to my office at work and kept a tv-out cable hooked up to it. Every now and then I hook up my phone to it and bust out some emulators. The 8-bitty gamepad is nice, but I'd rather use a stick.

Trying out some PCE CD based games with it...

An improvement over the standard iCade unit I noticed is that the ball doesn't start to unscrew a bit after playing for a while. The balltop on this one fits tightly on. Stick has a tighter throw too which I like. It's also a decent weight for being mostly plastic. Not too big or too small either. Just right size to stow away in my cabinet at work. Also the price is right at about 30 shipped from Amazon via my prime membership.

Damn huge comic lot. Sorry for the poor pic:

http://s1.postimg.org/rv2lieg9r/050413_2155_00.jpg

Complete Lupin the III US Manga run Vol 1-14
Trigun Manga Vol 1+2
Eatman and Eatman Second Course
Judge Dreed Complete Case files 1 + 2
Silent Mobius Vol 1-4
Berlin City of Stones

Too much shit I purchase. I didn't know the Lupin the III volumes were rare. That's the whole US run I picked up for $70.

+1 for Gun Dec. Bruce Willis ftw. Afaik Project Vice has some minor censorship too.

Wow! You got your Sturmwind already, nice! How do you like it? I hope mine comes in soon.

On a side note...

Picked up a second Gateway DL27-1 yesterday afternoon. Basically a 27" CRT VGA monitor. I forgot how amazing stuff looks on this. Especially retro via an XRGB2+ or Dreamcast VGA adapter.

Dirty 68k emu, but still looks great. ChoRenSha 68k looks especially amazing.

I've started collecting and buying American Silver Eagle $1 coins.
For about $31, you can buy yourself a full ounce of pure silver in an attractive coin. Way better than spending the equivalent on games, since games really don't appeal to me these days.
There's something cool about owning tangible, precious metal I guess.

Are they also legal tender? Not that you'd spend a $1 coin worth $31 though..

Absolutely. Legal tender and backed by the US govt.

These are minted by the United States Government.
The "$1" value is more of a historic term (for example, the official US govt minted Gold coins display a value of $5 or $50 depending on the gold content), not an actual numismatic value.

That said, they are quite beautiful and substantial when you see them in person.

Picked up an interesting novelty. An MVS NeoGeo Garou in an AES cart shell. Will not play on an AES without adapter. Mainly bought it to get a cheap extra snaplock case and for the novelty factor.

Funky MVS (left) vs. real AES homecart (right)

Some repro posters of Dimahoo and Progear no Arashi. Need to do some trimming on the Progear on the right and some framing finagling.

The "infamous" Doki Doki Panic in cart form and custom box/instructions. Been wanting something like this (CIB style) for a loooong time. Much nicer than the loose asian pirate cart I also have.

I've been looking for this game forever. Whoever sold it to gamestop probably didn't even get $2 for it.

It's definitely got a learning curve but is one of the most unique games on the DS.

Damn you MOSQUITO, I'm looking for it too but no chance. If you dislike it well you know pm me and I'll refund your money :). 10$ for it, it's a bargain, congratulations.
