Sorry if (a) this question has already been asked (I did search but found nothing) and (b) if it's a stupid question, but I really can't find a clear answer.
I've finally found a J-NTSC Xbox 360 console at an affordable price, but it's one of the early non-HDMI models. Now, I know that these consoles used the d-terminal connector in Japan, whereas the EU and US used component cables. I'm just wondering if the component cable would still be compatible with the Japanese model, or whether the it will only work with the d-terminal cable (which my TV won't support).
Thanks in advance for any help you good folks can offer!
Non-HDMI Japanese Xbox 360 - Can I use a component cable?
Re: Non-HDMI Japanese Xbox 360 - Can I use a component cable
The cables are not region specific so they will work. Used first generation Microsoft (switchable composite/component) can be found fairly cheaply if you know where to look (EBGames/GameStop). The new non-switchable ones are outrageously priced. But I would stick to the first party ones.

Great, thanks. I was pretty sure it'd be fine but wanted to be sure before taking the plunge.
Cheers!
