Definitely can't wait for this. I haven't really touched on Einhander much (maybe only did like 2-3 full credit-fed clears) but I've been meaning to start learning the game seriously in the coming months.

Thanks for having me on again! I think it was a pretty good episode overall.

I was reading through the chat and realized that I gave some misinformation right at the beginning of the replay; he kills those popcorn and the first carrier with the arm, not with speed change jets. I was thinking of other shmups (like some of the R-type games) where the speed changes are a viable tactic. I don't think they do damage in Einhander after all.

I've never seen a full run of this game, but upon watching it, I must declare that it has perhaps the funkiest bad-guy in any shmup I have ever seen.

Rapidly changing your thrusters does DO damage. Its not a viable way to play however.
