Raiden II PC: Cannot Detect CD-ROM Audio...
Raiden II PC: Cannot Detect CD-ROM Audio...
I can't get passed this error since day one after having the disc get scratched up (but backed it up before it did.) What do I have to do? I have changed the drive letter from the virtual clone drive to a lower drive letter which I heard works, and changed compatibility, but still doesn't work. Any help please? I have been dying to play it for a few years now.

Are you saying you made a backup in the form of a .ISO file, or you manually made a copy of the disc? Note that .ISO format doesn't support CD audio (so if you made a backup as an ISO file you stripped it of its audio track)- you need to save the CD as a .BIN + .CUE format to have a rip of the CD with both the data and audio tracks. Are you using the original disc it came with? Are you running it in DOSbox (make sure you set it up to detect CD audio in the setup, have you got the CD drive detected in DOSbox if you are?) or are you running it in Windows? A screenshot would likely help.I can't get passed this error since day one after having the disc get scratched up (but backed it up before it did.)
You can check if the actual CD you're trying to use actually has an audio track on it (be it the original or backup) by playing it like a normal CD (track 1 will be all the data, the rest of the tracks will be the CD audio, if there's only one track you've got no CD audio obviously).

I had this , the problem is that the cd has to be in the d: drive to get cd audio. if your mounted the image change your cd drive to like z: or what ever and change the virtual drive to d: it will work then.
