Tried the xbox controller for Windows drivers?

I have tried it implicitly since my XBOX360 wired controller is working 100%.TransatlanticFoe wrote:Tried the xbox controller for Windows drivers?

- Install the 360 drivers
- Reboot
- Plug in the 3rd part 360 controller
- Open the device's properties from the device manager
- Manually specify a driver (use the Microsoft Common Controller.....)
- Enjoy

Re: Hori Fighting Stick EX2 Win7 64Bit Not Recognized
Hmm I didn't have any problem with my Hori Fighting Stick VX, but then again I'm on 32-bit.
I will be switching to 64-bit soon though, so hopefully there are no hiccups like this.
It might be something that can be fixed by editing an .inf file and adding the hardware IDs, but that's always a pain in the rear.

Re: Hori Fighting Stick EX2 Win7 64Bit Not Recognized
Turns of that even though your xbox360 controller is recognized automatically by Win7 64 Bit it does not mean that other devices will be automatically recognized. So the initial suggestion from TransatlanticFoe was the only one needed to get it working.TransatlanticFoe wrote:Tried the xbox controller for Windows drivers?

Thanks for all suggestions and assistance, much appreciated!
