I am looking at buying a Aero Fighters PCB but noticed that there seem to be two types of PCB layouts. I can see that they are both originals as they have Video System stickers and screened onto the PCB too.
I guess my question is why and which is the newer version and which is the better one to have?
Like on other games, sometimes they revise boards to cust costs so the sound may be worse etc.
I thought Aero Fighters used updated Turbo Force hardware, although looking into google I see a bunch of ugly customers with "cockroaches" (upside-down PCB attached to the main PCB), which all look like the same revision. Maybe those are an older version.
Done some more digging around and I talked to a friend here in the UK who told me that (picture 2) is the smaller version and this version of the hardware is based on "turbo force".
