Av Famicom RGB jail bars?

I've been trying to sell my RGB modded AV Famicom but everyone gets scared off when I tell them there are jailbars. The jailbars aren't really that bad and are nearly invisible depending on how the brightness is set on my pvm.

Someone told me that AV Famicoms aren't supposed to have ANY jailbars when they are rgb modded. is this true? And if it is true, why does mine have jailbars?

depends on the quality of the RGB booster circuit and likely to some degree on the RGB cable's quality. It also depends on the display or the processor the system is used with. Usage of a Powerpak also increases jailbars visibly.

NES jail bars is a fact of life. Even my original NES using composite cables shows weak jail bars with some games on LCD TV (none on CRT TV). LCD shows all flaws CRT hides.

My NES displays jailbars in RGB, as well. I originally used a transistor-based amp, but swapped it out for an IC-based amp. No change. A I agree with leonk. I think you just have to live with it. Small price to pay for a huge improvement in picture quality.

I wonder whether the Famicom Titler exhibits this artifact. My unit i still on some boat lethargically making its way to me, but I'd find it disappointing if it had anything of the like, in addition to imprecise colour rendition.

Doesnt look anywhere near as bad as jail bars you see on other systems. How much are you selling the NES for?

My AV Famicom uses the Famicom Titler PPU and has jailbars.

My Famicom titler arrived last night. Tried a few games via my PVM 14L2. No jailbars that I could see, alles klar, it works perfectly and looks fantastic.
