Espgaulda 2 will be released in October(yeah). Cave's shooter is set for an October release, says River Service, and it will use a three button plus stick layout per player this time. (From www.insertcredit.com)

Some people did, but Cave games aren't really meant to be played 2-player.... at least it would seem that way.

They added a catch phrase to the logo on the official site as well.

Here's the main gist of that guys impressions.

The biggest change from the last one is that while in Kakusei Seikai, if you push the barrier button, you enter Kakusei Zetsu Shikai. The enemies produce even more bullets, and the multiplier can go up to 500 (whereas in normal Kakusei mode it maxes at 100).

EDIT: One last bit. He says the gems seem to be generated differently. You might get more if you are closer to the enemy when you kill it (a la Ketsui). He admits though that the amount of stones might change depending on the time they appear, to the time you grab them.

SEems I wasn't too far off on my thoughts on Aasagi. Looksl ike a Ketsui ship, and time it takes for the options to hit the enemey is too long.

read a bit over at 2ch. Seems that this is one hard mofo... way harder than the first. I couldn't really say after only playing one time, but I think that was the general consensus even at the AM Show. NOw it's confirmed. Tough game.

my god that's poor.. I think they will be doing themselves more damage than good with such a cheap CM.. stick to the game footage guys...

Loads of hope. The cheapest Mushi has gone for is about $1000... it seems to have gone back up a tad since then... if you can find one second hand that is.

One of you crazy $2k-on-a-pcb guys let us know when you get it - I'm curious to know how hard they made it. One of the very best features about galuda was it was suitable for less l33t skilled players to enjoy too (and you can always dipswitch them harder).
