Playasia have the excellent Hori pads in again:

Thought it might be worth alerting you lot as they were sold out for a while. THey are truly superb pads (if a bit loud & clicky). 8)

Supposedly, they had been picked up for US distribution... Anyone know what happened to that?

I thought I read about people being able to buy them at Game Crazy or other stores that aren't here in Canada...

I have one, and the D-pad, like the SNES D-pad, really hurts after a while. Still an undeniable improvement over the standard GCN controller though.

I hardly ever use mine in favour of a Cube Joybox 3 plus an arcade stick, and I'll use it even less now that I have the game on Dreamcast...

They have, but no store seems to actually be willing to sell them, what with GC shelfspace getting smaller and smaller...

Anyways, I ordered a US GC Hori controller from eBay, and the box is entirely in English...good controller, I might add.

I think the GC dpad is just fine I really can't understand why everybody is whining about it fits perfectly under my thumb

The standard controller's d-pad sits in an odd spot and is way to small to allow comfortable, precise use, especially for a shooter. And I wouldn't recommend using the analog stick either. The hori pad is great and only $20.

I disagree ,The position takes some getting used but the size is just perfect
