It should also be noted that Eddie is extremely hard to play. You don’t land an invincible normal or a jab and go into 50% for free.
FRC's are amazing. For instance Sol’s Gaaanframe is a projectile of 3 hits and the FRC point is just after it comes out, so by doing a FRC you can dash behind it and mix-up your opponent while they’re pinned. His Bandit Revolver (kind of like Gauntlet Hades) has a FRC point just as he jumps so it turns from an attack into a command jump. This shit is soooo sexy.
Guilty Gear Accent Core coming to XBLA/PSN
Re: Guilty Gear Accent Core coming to XBLA/PSN
Honestly, I play GG and BB consistently even till now, and I don't see how BB is slower than GG. Maybe if you consider the idea that players are in guardstun longer in BlazBlue than they would be in Guilty Gear, but that only makes it FEEL like a long time. A good Ragna player can make you WISH you were fighting Sol. That, and a good Tager player can end a match faster than any Potemkin match in Guilty Gear.
Guilty Gear has Slashback, and while in some ways Instant Blocking in BlazBlue is similar to Slashback, to say nothing of the fact it's easier to execute and that tighter guardstrings in BlazBlue lead to Guard Bonus, there's a lot less risk during an IB in BlazBlue than a Slashback or IB in Guilty Gear.
In Guilty Gear you have to worry about Guard Crank, which even if you IB a lot won't reduce unless you FD. FD (Faultless Defense) is your saving grace comparably. Barrier in BlazBlue only has so many uses, many of which can be penalized if over-used. FD, aside from burning Tension, doesn't have very many penalties, it restores guard crank, gives you space, and even serves as a way to cancel running and a few other things, the equivalent to this in BlazBlue is Kara-cancels (throw animation cancels into Barrier).
Then there's Burst, in BB, Burst is mostly a defensive tool, but halves your Guard Primers (and was even worse in CT). Offensively the most it can do is increase stun time for combos. In GG, even if you Blue Burst, if you were patient, it would come back eventually. The only major weakness in Psyche Bursting was that it could be airthrown on reaction or blocked on reaction (which is similar to the case of BlazBlue's barrier burst, but can't be airthrown). Maybe higher level players in GG assume a Burst is GOING to be airthrown, but that's not always the case with your average match, the pace of which is often dictated by when someone is going to burst...same with BlazBlue.
Both systems have a fairly even pace, based on my observation, so in comparison you can't really say which is faster objectively based on which you prefer to play more.
Also, I liked Last Blade 1 + 2, so....haters gonna hate.

The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

Just a mention, GGXXAC+R is hitting Ps Vita April 23rd (and most likely getting a patch soon after for you others).
