Oh boy, I've got quite a list of stuff I'm bringing

Expect: Thunder Dragon, Thunder Dragon 2, Gun Frontier, Ibara (unless someone else wants to bring this), Battle Bakraid, and SKY SOLDIERS

I'll probably additionally bring hacked ROM sets of the first 3 (autofire for the first two, a faster autofire on btn3 and slightly faster ship and no checkpoints on gunfro).

I have a 3 day weekend off work, so count me in!

My PCB collection hasn't had many additions the past few years. I have Strikers 1, 2, and 3, Dragon Blaze, Gunbird 2, Dangun Feveron, Donpachi, and Sengoku Ace. I've also just picked up Sky Shark, but I won't bring that since drboom has it. Everything else I'll plan on bringing unless someone else already is.

I am now considering going, but we'll see how it works out. It'll be the weekend before the last week of school and even though I won't have much to do except grade finals, the kids might need me around. We'll see.

I'll post what I could bring sometime, but Jeneki knows the selection is magical.

I was compiling a PCB list full of weird crap the other day and what car I'll need to drag everything up there. Definitely excited for this!

Quick update - Zespy is getting some boards together as well - I definitely think he's got the bug - and we may be going down to get his Lifeforce out of storage and get it running tip top for the event. :) I'm stoked as well and hoping to make this one even better than the last. We'll have better weather for sure!

Hey, the weather honestly wasn't bad last year. Even though it was February I wore a light spring jacket and hoodie the whole time. Any interesting additions at Logan's since we were last there, pinball or retro wise?

All I can say officially is there will be a lot of new stuff - but I'm sworn to silence. :) At least for the time being.

Man, we need to do some kind of co-op tournament, like Lifeforce. I would be down for that.

I can say he's got a shitload of pins at the ready, but I probably shouldn't say what titles. Shaq is there - I'll make sure its up for the tourney...:)

I'll have a list of PCB's I'm bringing closer to the event. Tentative thoughts were Ninja Emaki, 1943 Kai, and Sky Fox come to mind. Everyone else seems to have all the big name crap.

You definitely need to bring Castle of Darkmist - for me at least. :)

Yeah, I have had a board come in recently of note, actually two that aren't shooters but both are legit. I should bring Extermination and Lost Castle in Darkmist, but you recall I had to look for an hour in the basement to find it, lol.

edit: Actually I can bring Sorcer Striker (forgot about that) and I have 2 of those rapid fire units from Mak, plus I can get button specific rapid fire units made as well for older shit.

I really want to go, but that the weekend right after Maryland Deathfest(Gonna get to see Sleep! amongst other things), so I think I'm going to be tapped out both on travel and cash. We shall see as the date get's closer, I would love to come out and see how the set up at Logan's hardware is.
That's hands down one of the best reasons to not play video games. Sleep rules. I don't get out much, but maybe I'll crawl out of my suburban cave and meet some new people this time around. I'm sure there's tons of games that I'd love to try but otherwise have no access to.

Whoops, nearly forgot about this. I'll be there showing what it looks like when a mediocre player barely touches a shmup for about a year :D .

Man, I haven't played shit recently. Been buying records and amps and wholy absorbed in music - but I am super stoked for the meet. Way I look at it - I'll be super fresh.

And on a sad note, RIP Jeff Hanneman.

Finally got into a new job; good news is it runs on an alternating weekend rotation. Bad news is I got lined up for that weekend. I'm gonna try to either swap rotations or look for a cover, but nothing has come through yet.

Congrats on the new gig1 And good luck getting the days off.

Looks like Zespy has a good title in mind for the score contest for the couch. It will remain secret until Friday night. I think we'll do a game Friday and one Saturday, so whoever wins on those nights will get the couch.

Cabs are already at Logan Hardware, I'm stoked!
