Small problem with the fan of my Cave Blue Metal Case.

Post by WarLord »

Hi all,

The title is talking about the problem itself, I don't understand why but the fan of my Cave blue metal case works when it wants... Around half of the time.

I tried with DDP DOJ, with Ketsui... Same reslut for each.
Except to connect and disconnect, I don't see what can I do for it because if there was a real problem, it shouldn't work at all, isn't it ?

What about a faulty contact ? Where ? How ?
I'm a bit lost. :(

Did anyone already get this problem guys ?

Thank you in advance. ;)

When it's not working, are you able to reach the blades? If so, spin it in the direction it should move. If it keeps running once kickstarted it's just old and needs replacing.

Hello,

I finally tried your way system11, the fan keeps running when it's kickstarted and since I spun it, it works 3/4 of the time but not all the time... :(
I guess that I will have to replace it in a near future.

Do you know a place where I can buy the same one ?
Is it sold with the same connection or I will have to recover the old white connection and attach it to the new fan's wire ?

Gratitude. ;)
