Newbie trying to find a shmup, help!!

Hello, good morning and good evening wherever you all are in the world. First of all I want to say what an impressive forum. You guys sure know your shmups!!
I need a little help and its driving me nuts. I'm trying to find the name of a vertical scroll shooter. I played it in an arcade about 10 years ago, I remember it having 2 power weapons one being a flame weapon which almost covers the whole screen in like a 'fire bird' effect, the second weapon I think was 2 bolts of vertical lightning scrolling from centre to edge of screen. The graphics and the pace of the game was decent and I vaguely remember the power weapon icon changing from blue to red, red to blue etc. I hope that is sufficient info for you all.
