1. Those stage 4 dragons are absolutely slaughtering me; one lives, it gets low on the screen, and now I've got a bunch of the lower part of the screen covered and bullets coming from the bottom. The 1-sissy just says "don't worry about them too much, deal with the popcorn", but then what do you do about bullets coming from the bottom? I can't figure this section out to save my life.
2. What determines exactly where your bombs go when you bomb? Frequently I'll toss one out against a boss, and get no damage out of it, because the sprite missed; how do you aim them?
3. How exactly does the "mash shot to do more damage" thing work? All of the info I can find for this is for maniac mode, not original mode. Do I need to set up a "rapid fire button 1"?

1. Hard to say. I say focus on the dragons. As I recall, you can manage to destroy their sections most of the time before they crawl around from the bottom. Be wary of destroying the heads as well, because they cancel bullets, right? Which gives you a moment to re-position. It's been a while since I've played so forgive me if I'm not aiming you in the right direction. I think there are moments where you can skip destroying a head and go for the sections, then get the head later when it wraps back around. Try that.
2. If you're holding left or right, it will be thrown in that direction and then bounce off of the screen. If no direction is held or up / down I believe it is thrown ahead of you.
3. Yeah, you hold the full-auto button (C) and mash shot (A) to achieve a higher damage output pointblank. I think that's how it works.
I miss playing Mushi ^_^

Actually, it's the tails that bullet cancel. A bit harder to "skip" them, but may be worth trying.
Interesting to know about the bomb. It certainly makes unplanned bombing a whole lot harder.

1. take a look at Icarus last replay to get some ideas about priority kills and positioning. You can mix a bomb or two in the middle if you can't keep the rithym.
