Has anyone else had issues trying to play Yoshi's Island Jap Version on SFC using an XRGB-3.
The screen keep switching between KHz from 15 to 45 and the screen stutters goes black and comes up breifly shakily basically unplayable
I've tried changing different setting V Sync and NTSC Dot Clock etc I've tried all of them
All my other games work fine. Is this something to do with the SFX chip on the Cartridge
Can anyone else confirm super fx chip games working on xrgb3 wih their Super Nintendo or Super Famicom particularly the Japanese version of Yoshi's Island.
I was thinking of buying a PAL version of Yoshi's Island to play on my SFC (I have a modded console plays all region) would this version work ?
Thanks I advance

SuperFX games work just fine. The SFC doesn't usually need any special settings. Have you tried a raw sync cable?

I'm just using The Official Super Famicom RGB scart connected from the Console to the Xrgb3
Where can I get a raw sync cable and will that likely to fix the problem?

The SFX chip and additional electronics on the cart can change the system's impendance which can cause the dropouts. You could try to switch the input termination on the front input from 75 to 220 ohm and compensate the darker picture with the picture settings. Might help.

Fudoh that didn't work either it keeps switching 15khz to 31Khz and the screen stutters like hell. I can't try it without XRGB-3 either my TV doesn't have a Scart connector I need to my Samsung Scart Adapter for that which leads me to this question is it ok to plug in a Jap 21 Pin Scart Into Euro Scart Socket . Obviously the Other way round damages the equipment but maybe Jap 21 Pin to Euro maybe ok is it?
If it is I may a Scart adapter so I can plug it in directly into my tv and test Yoshi's island that way

No, you cannot plug a Japanese 21 Pin Scart Into Euro Scart Socket.
Retro console accessories used to do the raw sync cables for the SNES/SFC but they seem to be all out at the moment.

Update : The game plays perfectly now. I turned the console on/ off and tried 10/10 times it worked
All I did I think was change the resolution to max 1920 x 1200 and changed the screen adjustment setting on my tv to screen fit. Aspect ration on XRGB-3 16:9 widescreen
Adc level 255 max
It's look beautiful all those lovely colors and hand drawn animation truly a work of art
