Good Crom, is Phelios arcade really that rare to warrant such a price? Seems like a few people recently have purchased just the bare board, which makes me wonder. Unless you're all high rollers...

They cost 45k for the bare board in Japan, it only came out over there and hardly anyone in the west has it, so you're pretty much limited to buying it direct or buying it from someone who got it direct (and thus paying the same price - gba's was my previous spare set).

Dave: build a monster cage for that ;)

I thought I'd share a pic of my Big Bang PCB. It's slightly different than Thunder Dragon 2 and it has a Banpresto silkscreen on the PCB rather than NMK. It's only one program rom to change the region to TD2.

haha, for some reason, I just cant get sold on Ibara. I am yet to try it (since I can't emulate it on my computer) and the gameplay doesn't look fun enough for me to invest in a pcb to try ;)

Rapid Hero. I need to find some time to get with Dave or someone local and see what the differences are. I have a burner, but it only works with XP SP 0 and my old system took a crap.

First we have - Saboten Bombers. I bought this because it came with art, but the art turned out not to be original after all.... I'm selling my old one now. Look at all that NMK stamped goodness.

Image

Then a beautifully clean Dragon Spirit. Actually got this as a ROM kit from Japan, and put it on a mint Tank Force PCB I had.

Image

The kit came with original art :)

Image

Next I picked up a Twin Eagle II, there's something I like about helicopters (yet I have no Ketsui!)

Image

That was a full kit, even including the POP!

Image

Now for something super rare. Seriously I have been looking for a Jump Coaster for 10 YEARS. That one for sale on KLOV? Well it's not for sale anymore, because I bought it. Had a wobbly sound error - factory mistake, wrong resistor fitted - tricky to diagnose. So happy to finally have this, and note that the license seal which should be on the art is still on the backing paper and taped to the PCB - nice! This really is about as rare as they get - serial 00063 and I bet they don't go far past 100. I've seen more Super Locomotive boards than this damn thing.

Image

A couple of instruction cards I wanted. Missed out on a LOAD I'd planned to buy today by working early and forgetting about them - missed out on Halley's Comet cards :( Those are the ones I'm really upset about.

Image

Not as rare, more desirable to most readers - G-Stream 2020. Wasn't cheap. One of the filter caps has a hole in it, bought a new one to fit tonight - works fine but I don't like leaving it with that damage.

Image

G-Stream came with original art - surprise!

Wish I could find time to come up to where you are with my board, but kinda stuck right now on permanant babysitting duties. :) Let me know if you are ever down this way.

I didn't knbow that... Arcadia is an export name for Rapid Hero ?

US ? Korean ? Any other ?

Nice catch about G-Stream G2020 System11, with instruction card more, you're a killer ! ;)

PS/ If I well understood, you've got 2 boards of this title ? If yes, PM ?

It's a relatively new discovery (undumped). A Korean export version of Rapid Hero.

I've got an original Chiki boys poster, rarer than the board. (Not for sale.)
