I'm in the middle of trying to fix my monitor, went back to see if anyone has replied to my thread and got greeted with this..

Go to your Board Preferences and turn off language filtering to get things back to normal....

April 1st is the worst day of the year to be on the internet.

It's doubly bad when, like moh's case, some websites actually prevent you from using them entirely for 24 hours, which is great when you're actually trying to get something done. I had a similar thing happen on another forum when I was trying to coordinate a marketplace sale during April 1st.

If they at least provide a way for you to turn it off, that's considerate of them. If only every site did that. :)

Totally. Chipmusic.org has all users showing as 'someone', with no avatars, so every post is by 'someone'. Should be an interesting day :lol:

That's actually why I didn't do anything this year in the way of a silly logo or theme. Last year it was Disney Princesses up top, but I took one look at what AO had done and decided people should have a safe refuge from the deluge of annoying stupidity.

I just ignore everything on April 1st - especially as there always tends to be fake announcements for shit we actually want :/
