Shooting game companies brought back from the dead
Which shooting game company would you bring back from the dead for one more game? I'd probably go with Psikyo. I'd really like to see Zero Gunner 3.
Re: Shooting game companies brought back from the dead
Irem, of course. For R-Type Delta 2, or R-Type Epsilon or however non-Final they'd like to name it.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Compile.
I know I've said this several times before, but I have an obsession with somebody making a good sequel or successor to The Guardian Legend.
A new Aleste would be nice too.

It's not exactly a game company, but I want Rhuminant's Whimper to make a sequel to Hellsinker or at least a new STG.

He's still working on this huge RPG called Bipedal Ibex, posts music from it regularly on Soundcloud, so you would basically want more of a shift in priorities.O. Kaneko, if only to see what would have followed Cyvern. Their shooters were definitely improving as time went on, although I have to wonder if the only thing that kept them afloat for so long was Gals Panic.
