Since computer colour invaded comics (recoloured Incal etc.), I've been waiting for it to evolve beyond "It'll do" level. For a while, The Red Star looked best to me, but I think it was essentially done by hand, using tablet or something like that.
This above picture either doesn't reek of synthetics, or my senses got used to those computer techniques.

Sweet! Never understood how people go about drawing anything decent with the mouse. But then again, I'm left handed but using the mouse right handed
