Blackmagic Design - DeckLink HD Extreme 3D

Post by panzeroceania »

it can capture images with 4:4:4, it can capture RGB through it's breakout cable, but does anyone know how it does with video game consoles or arcade boards? also, I see input and output for R, G, and B, but what about the sync signal?

It can only capture digital RGB. And it's not 240p compatible.

To use any BMD card for capturing classic systems, you have to add a video processor as a capture interface.

any of the DVDO ones. You need to be able to unlock the output frequency from the input. That's a why a "raw" linedoubler won't work.
