Hahaha, that's great, KAI Maybe that's what Ketsui 2 would've looked like
I'm looking forward to playing this game. I would much rather see some information about the scoring mechanics instead of this. However, this particular feature is probably what sells :/

We did get Strike Witches though.
In any event, I'm rarely particularly bothered by the character art in a shooter myself, as most of the time I'm looking at an airplane or spaceship anyways.
I actually never considered the character art itself that terrible (though I joke about it on the first page starting off a whole bunch of aye-yi-yi's), though the blowing off clothes thing just is completely unappealing. Hard to justify the genre to my friends with that going on, you know.
The fact that it's region locked doesn't help things. Though if it gets a western release I'd still likely pick it up.
There'll apparently be a "no damage mode" which allows you to play through the game just to see the story, though it might also be handy for training purposes since it keeps track of how many times you would have died playing normally. There will also be six difficulty levels to choose from, though the article doesn't say whether or not scores will be tracked separately for them (if memory serves most of the Raidens did, though someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Some of them involves 1CC runs with each character, beating specific bosses, 1UP Item, score collecting and... tearing of each character's clothes~ (never saw that coming, right?)
Also, the highest scoring one at 100G is a No Miss Clear run. (similar to Raiden IV's difficult 1CC runs)

They've shown small clips but nothing substantial.

I've already seen that video, but since it's the character's presentation u can barely see nothing but a couple of shots. It is gonna be a blind purchase.

Looking good. I was expecting something less creative. I do hope it gets harder because those bullet canceling abilities were used almost continously.
Yeah, I assume that it takes time to recharge/level up those special attacks and that Moss just wanted to showcase them in the trailer.
I'm pretty pleased with what I've seen so far. Some of those bullet patterns and stage designs look pretty cool! I'm definitely looking forward to getting my copy!
Actually looks pretty decent, I'm down for this - much more interested than I was with Ginger Force. It's got a Dimahoo vibe going on, and it looks like Moss have steered away from anything convoluted and kept it clean n' simple. Nice bosses too. Hope it's not as punishing as Raiden IV, I'm about done with that one tearing me up on the Stage 3 boss.
And I suppose I could get into ripping some panties off, if I must. Been a while.
Not sure, but I was kinda hoping for something closer to Raiden/II/DX. I'll wait for 'later' gameplay videos before I shrug this off. Hopefully the bullets will be... lightning fast
