Blank Screen on XRGB-3 Cannot Change Settings

I was messing about with the setting from VGA mode PC mode with my PS2 and now nothing comes up. Powers on fine but no menu settings come up????

I had a look at xrgb3-wiki there's is a reset option method but does that reset the firmware to default

Please help I only just got it today and I need to justify this $500 purchase before I lose my mind

No, the reset does not reset the firmware, just your settings.

I'm trying to reset the settings but I can't get the damn thing to go into standymode
The remote doesn't respond when I press the red standby button nor when I press the power button on the machine
