Is there a way to get Muchi Pork /Pink Sweets to save scores

? They constantly delete my scores, and I don't know if it's something I'm pressing, or if I have to enable autosave or what. Is this just a glitch or can it be resolved? I love both games, so I'd liek to be able to see my high scores.

I can't even get mine to stay on the version I've fucking selected. MMP is permanently stuck in 1.01.

IIRC, this selection is made in the very first menu, the one that appears right after you boot the package.
You won't find the related option inside the window for the particular game.

It's set in the menu to 1.00 but boots to 01 every time regardless. I cleared the cache and deleted my save on the first occasion, which reset it, until it did it again a few games later without me touching the options. Wouldn't mind but the pork laser in 01 is fucking useless!

After switching it 1.01, does it say "now saving" when you exit the menu?

One version seems to drain the meter in about half the time of the other.

Yea, 1.0 drains much faster so your timing needs to be more exact than with 1.01. Its far from useless, though!

And no not useless, but I need every bit of legit help I can get.

I posted up the same question about my X360 port a couple of months ago. My scores would disappear at random intervals. Sometimes lasting a day, sometimes as much as a week, but always disappearing at some point.
The answer was that the port has a bug.
Since signing up to Jap XBox Live and saving scores and replays onto the Leaderboard, everything has been ok.

1.01 is the default mode so you shouldn't need to change anything to play it. Either start the game with a new account and don't touch anything or select default settings in the game option menu.

It sucks that this is the disc they skimped out on in terms of features and quality control, because it's easily my favorite Cave release after Futari.

How do you know it switched? Are you going into the options menu to check after each run?

It displays at the top of the screen during character select, and the lard meter is a killer. It's still displaying the original version in the options, but showing the other in game.

So it says 1.01 in the options, but when you play it says "v00" at the top? That is indeed bizarre. I've experienced some weirdness with the saved high scores, but never had this problem so I don't know what to tell you. Enjoy 1.0, I guess.

I'm trying, but the fast draining meter is a ball ache. Might have one more go at deleting saves etc.
