Pretty sure it isn't a scam, but is quite stupid indeed my fellow 'Spainfag'.

It went over the news as this weird campaign Tourism Australia's doing to get more people coming in. I don't think anyone here's really taking it seriously though, so it's probably going to flunk real quick if it hasn't already (takes a while to remove websites in government).

The only joke is the way this guy keeps throwing around racial slurs and claiming he's not racist. People who aren't racist generally don't use racial slurs, and at the very least, realize these are not acceptable by society at large.

The fact that he hasn't even gotten a temp ban or anything doesn't help, as it's obviously made him think it's ok for him to throw that shit around here, since he hasn't been reprimanded.

It's in the friggin rules...why isn't it being enforced?

If this kind of language is acceptable here, I am at a loss.

I don't actually think he is a racist, the thread title just made me spit my soda out and laugh. O.Van is just trying to figure out what's cool to say and not to say when conversing in casual English. 'Ausfags' is two slurs, as in: "Hey Australian Faggots, can you get me a fucking job or what?!"

Obviously being demeaning to homosexuals is normally considered okay on the internet, since "Totally freakin' gay" does the rounds without protest, so therefore 'Fag' falls under the same remit.

By that rationale, if suggesting an Arab is in possession of a "Sand Penis" is offensive to Arabs, then perhaps terming anything one considers to be substandard or foolish as being created by "Autists", and in doing so insulting those afflicted with the condition known as 'autism', should also be turned a blind eye to.
