Hoping the cost for a zine doesn't put lots of folks off. When you do the figures though, and you are dealing with such small numbers it's so expensive. Then factoring in packaging, postage, PayPal fees and so on makes it a tight squeeze where all you can do is offer a break even price. Well, either that or make a photocopied zine on the cheap. I could have done that, but that would do Mr. Overton's artwork a great dishonour!

One thing I have learnt from all this is how expensive printing is and how tough it is to keep costs down. Every page you add sends your total cost spiralling out of control. It's madness!

On the other hand the response has been totally overwhelming, so cool to see such a positive response. Same with other folks kicking out projects there, like Chronoblast for example.

I don't know about anyone else, but I originally skipped over the [fan]'zine' description... awful inbuilt bias I know, I'm just haunted by visions of photocopied, stapled, pages. This on the other hand looks like it'll be a cut above.
