Star Wars Pinball

Did anyone get this? I didn't see any shmups people like DJ Incompetent or Damocles on my score list yet, dominating all three tables among my friends list currently with some rather mediocre scores. And no comments in the Digital Pinball thread on here so far.

I thought I'd give them a try since the Pinball Arcade update on 360 has been taking forever, and I'm not too disappointed. Boba Fett is the most disappointing of the three since you can hardly score at all without starting one of the bounties. While it makes sense considering the theme, it just makes scoring more about starting modes than it already is in a lot of other Zen tables. Those kinds of tables can get nauseating, but Empire and Clone Wars aren't too bad about it. I'm just glad they're likely giving the Marvel stuff a rest and moving on to some different themes. Ultimately if you like pinball at all I think you'd enjoy these.

Yeah, I saw that it was available on the USA region XBL Arcade section just a few days ago.

I'm quite sure Stern will do another SW-themed pinball machine when SW Episode 7 makes it's grand debut on the big screen in possibly May of 2015.

I recall that Williams shoecased both of it's two prototype Pinball 2000 based SW: Episode 1 pinball machines to the 1999 California Extreme show & they were both for sale at $4,400 USD each directly from Williams. Got to try them both out personally and they were ace. Just a tad too bit rich in the monetary funds/wallet issue though at that point in time (and would've been a good investment given their proto pin status).

There's a general production released SW:Ep. 1 pin at the local Funworks in Modesto, CA to take out for a spin from time to time (although the lightsaber's neon tubing doesn't light up anymore as it should).

Got way too many tables in my collection at the moment so I'll hold off buying more for now. But this one is definitely on my list.

There's a Windows 8 and Mac App Store release.

Just got 97 million on Empire. So many ridiculous shots required of you in the scenes, just the first part of Scene 5 seems like it requires luck above all.

A callout! I love it! My 360 red ringed again. It'll be ghetto flea market fixed this week. I've been back at the superplay recording creation in the meantime.

Gimmie some good scores to beat by Thursday! Do it!

In Boba Fett, once you get the 60 million bounties available there's one in Jabba's where you're supposed to shoot a Stormtrooper in the neck on the digital display. Could of swore I had a good shot and it said I missed. I can't practice much since you have to nail a ramp shot in like 7 seconds each time to get another shot at it. This board is still super annoying to me but I keep playing it for whatever reason. No one has any decent scores at it at all on my list.

Anyways still at 97 mil on Empire, 121 mil on Clone Wars, 107 mil on Boba Fett.

I've been spending the last couple of weeks catching up and wrecking your high scores on other tables (I am djZM on your friends list). :D

I might pick up this Star Wars pack. I am enjoying Zen's newer tables much MUCH more than their older efforts.

Yeah I have some work to do on a lot of those. Certain ones like Biolab and Plants vs. Zombies I pretty much let my fiance play and try to score on, since she always complains about my huge scores :p. But I really want to try one on Plants vs. Zombies soon and come back to Mars and some other ones.
