MKL audio mod on a MV1FZ

Post by akille68 »

Hi folks,
I have modded a MV1FZ, with 5V and stereo sound. Everything work flawlessy, with the exception of sound, that is a bit too low.
Now I found another sound mod by MKL that is far better than the one my machine has on.
This is the circuit diagram:

I am a total dummy about electronic, and am not able to read that diagram or to translate it in a construction one. Anyone can help?
Maybea shot of the rear of the board to see soldering points could help.

This is the upper side

Just hope that MKL will read this 3d and will chime in :wink: (MKL, damme na mano...nun te fa pregà!)

Thank U.

This is the list of parts...my problems are on the second part of the diagram, where are the transistors...
6x 4.7u (25v) caps;
4x 1k resistors;
4x 10k resistors;
2x 4,7k resistors;
2x 10u (16v) caps;
2x 680 ohm resistors;
2x 120k resistors;
2x 2sc1815 transistors;

I think this diagram from the 2SC1815 datasheet will clear things up for you:

Thank U. I do not understand why in the picture transistors are oriented in a way that does not match diagram symbols...i mean on that board they have been placed with flat faces seeing each other, on the diagram symbol are oriented differently...

Some questions:

A) Transistor's 3 pins go to the resistors 4,7k and 680 and 4,7 u cap...

B) If I read it correctly, 5 volts input is on 4,7k res., while 680 and 10k are both grounded, right?

C) Also, my educated guess is that channel 3 is the analog one, but do not know which of the remanent channels is left and right...

I have done it and is far better than the one found on MMonkey website.
