Good list! Though Soykyugurentai made the cut while my favorite shooter of all time and the originator of the style didn't

The fact that a treasure game made it into the top 25 is a damn shame, but 2 of them?! Both ahead of Ibara?!

Hahaha I don't like Cave much, and so the games I end up liking are less like their usual formula. I thought Deathsmiles was a good side scroller. Good pacing and variety, and you can play it easy or hard. I'd recommend it easily for someone's first shooter.
