I definitely wanted the Sonoda Ken'ichi mahjong games, real bad. I might just byte the fuckin' bullet and buy one even if I have no clue how to play it

The Suchie-Pai series is fantastic! Can't recommend them enough.xbl0x180 wrote:I definitely wanted the Sonoda Ken'ichi mahjong games, real bad. I might just byte the fuckin' bullet and buy one even if I have no clue how to play it

On the left, the forgotten classic Psychic Force series complete collection. On the right, rancor's super kawaii battery pack. Not pictured: the kitkat bars that came with it which I ate the same night I got them.

I don't see why you'd want anyone other than Wendy unless you was gay or something.

This is buyer's remorse more than anything. I couldn't pry off the nostalgia goggles in time...

Yup, same here. I've been watching an ebay one for months now. I can bullshit my way through the katakana/hiragana, but once kanji start showing up I'm pretty much boned.Kiken wrote:The Suchie-Pai series is fantastic! Thanks for the info!just a day or two ago another card was announced, again a full collection of games including Metal Slug 2 and Blazing Star. tba for late April or May. They'll also bring a FW update, likely to stop loading roms from the SD Card.
And speaking of it: roms are playable without any modding if you use a re-wired SD to MicroSD adapter. There's also a fix for the emu itself which produces a MUCH better picture. Kills the edge enhancement and does proper linedoubling (448 lines instead of 480).

Just got my first stick!

Now I don't have to use the 360 pad anymore.
This is supposed to work on PS3 and PC too, so it all works out.
I really want to customize this thing already, but maybe after some use. I'm still a noob at this stick stuff.

Dementium: The Ward, Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers and ... Zenses Rainforest?? lol it was a lot of 3 games on eBay for $17, so whatever. But it actually looks like a decent puzzler, which I've been craving lately.
I've owned a DS for about 4 years, and these are the first games I've ever bought

(Actually that's not true, I bought Guitar Hero World Tour with a gift card because obviously you need the attachment thingy)
I'm really psyched about Dementium though, I remember hearing lots of good things when it was released.
Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)
I gave it a whirl on the 360 and PC, and it's magical. I don't think I could go back to the 360 pad now.trap15 wrote:I have a Q4RAF as well. Great stick, nice buy

Though, the LT/L2 button isn't working for some reason, so hopefully that's just something I can fix as I mod it (assuming it's just the wiring or something).

Finished up my PSP collection. All I need to get now is Gunhound EX. PSP games are so cheap right now.

No, there isn't. Wong and Emilio are the only other choices. It's weird that none of the main characters are available.KAI wrote:Is there a Might or Setsuna limited box?ChainsawGuitarSP wrote:I don't see why you'd want anyone other than Wendy unless you was gay or something.

And yeah, being able to play as Brad in glorious 7th gen 3D is pretty nice. Love that snake throw even though I have no idea what it has to do with his gravity theme.

Due to an upcoming arbitrary milestone in my life, my wife let me have a Net City.

Wasn't a big fan of the Net City cp with the card reader, so I replaced it with a Naomi Universal cp:

I also replaced my Aero cp recently, since it was a bit on the rusty side.

and just in case anyone is wondering, the 2 anomalies on the bottom left of the Aero panel are a coin insert button and volume control.

Hahaha. I'm in the process of looking to buy a place here in SoCal and it is brutally expensive. I will not see another new thing for the next 30 years. I better get keen on free streaming and free emulatorsdrauch wrote:xbl0x180 wrote:Oh, shit! I just bought 270 bucks' worth of Criterion DVDs. They're having a 24-hour blow-out! Well at least you're buying now vs the prices during the real estate boom a few years ago. I'm underwater equity-wise right now in my current place. Good luck and welcome to mortgage slavery!xbl0x180 wrote: Hahaha. I'm in the process of looking to buy a place here in SoCal and it is brutally expensive. Me too! I love the sort of sunburst design, kind of reminds me of an old Les Paul. That controller is pretty awesome! A shrink-wrap machine? That's like owning your own money printer! Congrats!

Nopes! I know where this copy was sourced from! Definitely a sealed new copy here Mr. Cakes!
...besides, I'm tearing that bad boy open tonight and giving it a bash. It's either that or my Hyper Duel PCB that arrived yesterday!

Artwork was sourced from a really high-res repro I found, and I had to do a lot of work in Photoshop to scale it down and make it work for the stick. Totally worth it though, and it was like $2 to get it printed.
Still need to get a few more PS-14-GN buttons to complete it, and I have yet to do the full RJ45 multi-console thing (currently only using on PC and PS3).

Holy crap this is so much better than the Saturn version.

Waku Waku 7 is a fantastic, overlooked fighter. I used to have a lot of fun with it through MAME until the PS2 Sunsoft collection came out a few years ago. Still haven't made the upgrade to MVS, mainly due to the (sorta) pricey figures. Nothing super deep for the hardcore fighter community, but if offers a lot of fun with a handful of nice anime references. I've always enjoyed it a lot more than Sunsoft's other fighter outtings, Galaxy Fight and Astro Super Stars.
