Omg why did you guys ban him?

he did nothing wrong if anything it was Friendly and Siren insulting and provoking a response at the end of the day I dont see where he broke any rules yet I can clearly see racism on sirens part come on guys I thought better of the moderation on this forum.....

Sometimes a horse needs blinders so he doesn't walk off the cliff; the main argument about the usefulness of an /ignore feature. It's amazing the dramas happen as infrequently as they do around here, frankly.

I think it's only temporary. Ghegs said he'll discuss about it with the mods and decide their fates. Although Siren deserves to stay permabanned for that racist comment of his.

Personally I didn't have any problem with Friendly or especially SkyKid, though on the flip side this means it was silly of them to be goaded into that foolishness. Guess I'd better watch myself.

Uhhh did you ban both of them? I don't have any particular problem with Friendly, but in the Friendly vs. Skykid war of not-spamming-everything-with-Sony-hype-all-of-the-damn-time, I've gotta side with Skykid. Or did something happen that I'm not aware of..?

It was just a stupid dustup, chronicled in a quarantined thread that is probably on the second page or whatever. Skykid made a dick of himself because that is what inevitably happens when you let dabs of pus like Friendly/Siren get to you (as I have in the past). Plus, he's Skykid.

Surprised he got banned, tbh. Personally I think he contributes a lot to the forum, and is a genuinely cool guy. Looking forward to seeing more of his Chinese travelogue.

I also don't think Friendly should be permabanned, as the only crime he's guilty of is being extremely annoying. That Siren guy is just unpleasant though. When he's not sharing delightful stories of looking up girl's skirts, he's being racist and just creepy. Perhaps he's just very young, but I know we've got lots of well adjusted teenagers on the board now, so yeah, no sense keeping him around. My two pence.

TL/DR: Just realised that the EEEEE-HURRRR sound effect from Thunder Dragon 2 is sampled from Top Gun.
