it's an interesting find, but the price is horrendous.

The manual states both non-interlaced and interlaced 15khz resolutions, which makes it interesting (besides the 24khz output of course)

All of the cheap VGA to CGA converters, like the one below, only output 480i in 15khz mode:

I can pay it like an UVC because I've ordered the last UVC on that site but for a mistake they don't have it and give me this one at the same price

I need it for use X360 at 24Khz with my aero city cab with a NANAO MS8

Talked to Mimo and I'm trying to get review units of the both the Genius Box 1 and 2. Very excited about a possible Emotia/UVC alternative. Will be interested to see how it performs.

I won't be able to try the 24khz mode. For me the interesting question will be how it looks with non-interlaced 15khz output (240p).

IIRC it's marked on the chassis as a jumper wire between "hi" and "low"

I got a Genius I and a Genius II on the way over here. Review will follow!

From the screenshots I can't tell - is it 240p or 480i ? The manuals suggests that both is possible.

you have read on the manual that i can change from 240p to 480i but work with the OSD isn't so simple!

the manual isn't very well written, so I can't help until I have the unit on hand.

Possibly try to switch the INTERLACED ADJ option between "25" and "1F".

They have sent me a manual that it's very different from the italian one. The right one it's the italian.

My photo are with 1F setting, I tried now the 25 setting for interlaced but it's better with 1F

tell me if you need that I'll try some particular setting

I used a jamma finger, plus I need to take the Vsync directly from che Nanao chassis (the yellow-green wire that you see in the photo)
