3rd model to the best available in NZ..cafe coffee is rediculously overprice here to I plan to use this to put an end to that...will take me 422 days at 1 cup a day to recoupe the price of the machine. Self cleaning too which I like.

I think for someone that enjoyed Eschatos it will be fun, but I really wasn't into that game either. It's really just a matter of a thousand minute details that annoy and snowballing into the game not being fun (for me). One of the things that annoys me the most is that there is so much shit going on in other planes that have zero effect on what you're doing at the moment. Holograms of rabbits above, enemies out of range below, floating coins and credits drifting toward, around, and away from you. It really is a pain to discern what is harmful/helpful every split second, especially when there are so many varieties of bullets looking to wreck your shit as well. This coming from someone that doesn't see any problems with the small and oddly colored bullets in Garegga..

It's not a bad game - it's just not for me.
Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)
Thanks for elaborating! I was wondering for a split second if I should cancel my pre-order from Play Asia since they still haven't shipped it yet (rancor wrote:pestro87 wrote: Really? :O I wasn't expecting that... What is it that you don't like about it?

Also, I'm with you on the color of the bullets in Garegga, haha.

1/10 scale drift chassis!

I'd actually been working on getting this since last September or so but stuff kept getting delayed. It was worth the wait though, local friend runs shop.tinyrc.com and just added the stuff on to an order of 3R mini-z parts. Got me a great price!
Also, I actually got this next one back in December, but it's pretty damn awesome! 2003 SVT Focus (60k miles!), finally own a sporty car! The car came with the nice multispoke rims from the EAP, these 5spokes have my winter tires on them.

Dont know how "awesome" the product is, but the price was:
For $32/20quid, I got this (stick #25) delivered in 2 days from online retailer

I tried to order 2 but the order system say no
Also running out of excuses for the missus for arcade stick collection.

Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)
rancor, thank you. This is totally awesome.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the parts. Not only is almost everything cast in the appropriate color, but the overall level of detail on the kit components is easily on par with-- if not outright better than-- a lot of other high-grade kits I've seen and worked with (Kotobukiya comes to mind). Very cool stuff, indeed.
I'm definitely going to build some of the other kits on my backlog first-- I'll wait to tackle this in real MASTER QUARITY until I feel good and ready for it.

Ah, true. Looked like another copy to me. The small flyer on the manual space was misleading me.trap15 wrote:What do you think the thing on the bottom right is?

Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)
incoming SONY products
Dark gray PS1 controller, a $20 pair of Sony headphones, and a silver PSP to replace my old duct-tape covered one that's beaten up enough that it crashes sometimes and doesn't feel like turning on sometimes [possibly related, but I'm too lazy to fix it, gonna sell it soon, and it's likely an easy fix].

Despite looking sparkled and black like that, it's more like an inverted color version of the normal gray PS1 controller.
And I'm so glad I got a PSP 2000, the d-pad is miles better than the 1000's. Not that good, but still better.
This PSP has some duct-tape on it just to keep the battery door from falling off, but it's not nearly as bad as my old one, which is a mess of duct-tape and scratches. And the analog nub on it is screwed up.

Not sure if its awesome, but it looks pretty cool. I recently got myself a Neo Geo X Gold.
If anyone here has any info about forthcoming game card releases for it....
I'd be very interested

Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)
just a day or two ago another card was announced, again a full collection of games including Metal Slug 2 and Blazing Star. tba for late April or May. They'll also bring a FW update, likely to stop loading roms from the SD Card.If anyone here has any info about forthcoming game card releases for it....I'd be very interested
And speaking of it: roms are playable without any modding if you use a re-wired SD to MicroSD adapter. There's also a fix for the emu itself which produces a MUCH better picture. Kills the edge enhancement and does proper linedoubling (448 lines instead of 480).
Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)

2 PCB's ( but this time no pictures of the PCB's because Vimana is installed in the Astro City & I was to lazy to take it out just for a picture
