Keep playing. I've found plenty of logs and goodies like that. :) Maybe there are less audio logs than F3, but I feel like there are more living people to interact with and speak to in FNV, so it's kind of a tradeoff.

Really fantastic title, now that the bugs have been mostly squished, at least on the PC version (community-released 4GB RAM fix for Windows 7 removed micro-stuttering!)

Fiends/Gouls will attack you, obviously.

Also, I love how the game forces you to make choices and choose sides in the game. You *will* have to fail some quests in order to complete others, which I think is very interesting. Once you reach the Strips the game opens up so much, and imo that's when the fun really starts.
Being attacked for not wearing the right suit in the right place is a good enough reason for me.
However, why would ghouls attack me ? I did help them handle their nuclear powerplant in Fallout 2, didn't I ?

Feral ghouls attack, not the usual variety.

I'm almost done with the game, and can say it's on par w/ FO3... i.e., it's amazing.

Don't want to make a new threat so I'll post this here.

My US x360 shat the bed, and the game isn't compatible with my JP region one. Anyone know if the Asia region version of the game is identical to the US version content wise and if it would be compatible with my save? Thanks.

I'm having the best time with the game at the moment, almost like I did with Fallout 1 and 2 !

Cthulhu please allow me to answer your more-than-one-year-old-message :
Cthulhu wrote: I'm passing on this. I loved Fallout 3, but...

1) Obsidian has a mostly poor track record
2) This game looks like just 'more' F3, and I don't really need more of the same
3) I figured it would be buggy as hell and I was right
1) Well, I just Fallout 1 & 2 from them, which is enough for making New Vegas, dont you think ?
2) It looks like, right, but does not feels like. Come on I-dont-care-about-graphics-but-like-good-gameplay community !
3) You're just right ! FO1 manual said "save often".

If you liked Fallout 3 you'll like New Vegas. It's that simple.

I just got this used for $15 and It's fucking sweet. Too bad I'll probably only have time to play it a few hours a week.

Necrobump.

Anyone currently playing this on PC? I returned my 360 version due to crash bugs a few months back, and was thinking of pickup up the 'Ultimate Edition' on steam if it's more stable there.
