I assumed the "bottom-tier" comment was about popularity or sales. It's not hate, just a fact.

It was. I love the "bottom-tier" Triangle Service, but I can acknowledge that their place in the industry is marginal at best.

Apparently they are making social, console and arcade games. Located in NE Tokyo. They've been around from 2003, but looks like they recently brought in khdn.
Their page says they contract with platform holders and create games as a developer, and also put out their own social/mobile games, and have worked with Nintendo, Microsoft, Konami and other companies. Small company but seems like they have connections.

I wonder where the programmers went to. Maybe if they're lucky, a few of them can start up a new group or merge with another (Triangle?).

Goodbye, MileStone. Your time with us was short, but in that time you made some of most creative arcade shooters by far. I'm sorry you had such bad luck with localizers.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Ouch, I'm sad to see them go. Noa was decent enough. I wonder if the local game store still has my preorder for Illvelo from years ago.

Is MileStone OK?
Yes dear, it's in a far away place having fun with its friends Psikyo and Gazelle.
Always hated their games, but people losing their jobs is sad.
