Worst Raiden Game?

No mention of Raiden 4 for the 360, is that in the 'Fighters' camp??

I'd classify Raiden IV as classic style. There is no fighters style medal chaining, but it does have the Raiden III speed kill multipliers.

Raiden IV also lets you overcharge your missiles if you stop shooting for a few seconds, which launches a huge salvo and awards bonus points per hit. If you watch replays you'll see some effective uses of this.

Is Raiden 4 considered overall a good game and entry in the series though? I was thinking of adding it to my shmup wishlist for when I finally pick up an Xbox.

Raiden IV builds on III for a much-improved game, kind of like how II & DX built on the original.

I like Raiden IV. Nailing a large enemy with a missile salvo the second it enters the screen, triggering a huge multiplier + missile bonus, is cool. Plus it's fairly cheap, I paid less than $20 for mine.

Raiden IV looks like a step back from III to me. Bishop laser is back, but so is screen wobble. Nevertheless, DLC lets you play as a fairy, which has to count for a lot.
