Esprade stage 4 subway boss is alway a little touch and go, never confident how that one will work out.

Also, Ketsui stage 3 midboss (ship), since I always go for the 1up, but I've never managed a solid strategy for the pattern so he takes me out 50/50.

I actually started this thread because I'm playing Raiden IV in the arcade (there's a tourney happening on the 30th) and the stage 3 boss is a prick. He has about five forms and likes to outstay his welcome far too long. Since creating the thread I'm getting the hang of his patterns now, most are basic step throughs, but at max rank the bullets are extremely fast.

I haven't played it in a couple of months, but I think you can be quick enough even without bombing if you use the rocket.

If it does get behind you, just concentrate on shooting down the missiles, and remember that you can quite easily slip between the bullets to change sides and give yourself more room. (The boss still catches me out and pins me against the edges now and then, so it probably does belong here... )
