Darius story anyone?

Can anyone chronologically tell me the stories of all the Darius games? I can't find much info//\\

up to Dariusburst Second Prologue please.

Basically, chronological order goes:

G-Darius
Darius 1
Darius 2
*Darius Twin*
Darius Gaiden
DariusBurst
*Darius Force*

The two SNES titles are starred, because their place in the grand scheme of Darius is tenable... Darius Force is (I read this somewhere >.>) the final game in the series and the final boss (Galst Vic) is the leader of Belser... but that's never really officially recognized anywhere else, so you can ignore the SNES games (though Darius Force is not a bad game).

Is that the reason for all the Ti2 drawings with Violent Ruler involved on Pixiv? That's interesting. Do you happen to know what's up with the Syvalion ending? Looks like The Embryon makes an appearance for whatever reason.

^Not sure, violent ruler doesn't show up until AC EX and I don't know where that takes place in the timeline. I do t know what he has to do with Embryon and Thiima either.

So which ending were you talking about? I only managed to figure out what happens after you destroy Hungry Gluttons and Great Thing. Thousand Knives' destruction doesn't seem to bring up anything notable... Unless what you're saying all happened with text only...

^so this is the ending with Sylvalion. The text confirms that it's embryon, although "Thiima" is written in English as "Shiima". Ti-2 flys off to negotiate with Thiima for humanities survival while Riga waits. Just re-watched this, I don't know where I got "merged" from

Wow, that's very interesting. So The Embryon somehow managed to survive from the very beginning of the war to the very end even with Silver Hawks shooting down every other battleship around it all to have a little robo catgirl negotiate with it for peace. Thanks for the info man.

And after fighting off the Belser army, the Silver Hawks are in no shape to tangle with Thiima. There is also some sci-fi technobabble explaining that as AIs using the same hyperwave network or something - Ti-2 and Thiima are the same in some way.

Uh, yeah, ok. I guess the Embryon somehow survived getting the ever-loving shit kicked out of it in G-Darius, and the whole Belser army taking over Thiima tech...

I think I prefer "WHAT A MATTER...! WAS THE WHOLE MORTAL COMBAT A DREAM?" when it comes to Darius storylines.

Thinking about it - if you beat embryon you get the worst ending. The pilots disintegrate and never discover Darius. Sequels never take place.
