Too lazy to boot to Windows on my proper laptop. Runs at half speed on my 11in netbook.
There is no reason this game should run so slowly on my netbook. Seriously. Isn't it made with GM? When the hell did sysreqs for GM games get so high [full disclosure: I still use GM5.3, but I did make something with GM8 that didn't run like ass and was dripping in transparency and whatnot]? Is it just really shitty object management [like not disabling objects that are off-screen]?

I'll play this tomorrow.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

I've got an absolute craptop that can run mame and little else, but this runs fine. My guess is most people are running into a Gamemaker-specific issue, where controller support comes with weird baggage. Sometimes plugging in a controller slows things down, and sometimes *not* plugging one in slows things down.

Basically, try mucking about with your usb controllers and see if that resolves it.

My computer has a Nvidia Geforce 520M and still runs the game at 60 FPS. It has a generation 2 intel core i5 at 2.3 GHz, though. No control issues with Super Dual Box Pro and a PS2 controller either. Xbox 360 controller works, but doesn't detect pad. I'm liking the game a lot so far. I love how the bosses have a variety of moves.

Just got it today..

Runs pretty smooth...I'd gave it a 8/10- not perfect but still fun and the mashup is pretty funny, overall a fairly solid effort for what's technically a Capcom endorsed fangame made in gamemaker. Oh, and hey-it's free!!

I was going to give this another go, but with a proper Nintendo pad instead of the USB pad I was using. However, the shoot and jump buttons are bass-ackwards. There doesn`t seem to be an option for reassigning gamepad buttons, and with the keyboard input being automatically disabled I can`t even use joy2key. Anyone find a way around this?

BTW, I can confirm the game runs on a 1.2GHz Pentium M with 32MB Radeon 7500 and under Windows 2000. Although one computer I tried it on with higher spec than that had horribly broken sound.

Pause and you can press either F1 or F2 to switch between Keyboard and Joypad input recognition. You must choose a stage first, before you can make this change.

New version coming this Friday. Includes passwords and better controller support.

Here's hoping. I'd really like to play this, but controller support is key.

This game is worse than practically every classic Mega Man game, but I almost feel like a bully saying that. Of course it's worse, being made by an amateur in his spare time, in a master-of-none dev program, relying entirely on the novelty of a crossover. No surprise it plays like crap compared to Mega Man 9 and 10.

Now, I'm off to blast kids' refrigerator drawings with withering comparisons to Guernica.
