Well, I had to retire my PVM-2030 and make room for newly purchased SONY PVM-14L5. It is superbly clean system (build date Jan 2005), came from a non-smoking environment, original owner, and came with its original box and manual! The seller asked for $275 and allowed me to spend almost an hour to play with it before I finally made up my mind!
OK, I have already connected my PS2 and GameCube using Component cables (via BNC adapters) to this monitor, and the image quality is phenomenal.
The thing I need to understand is, how can I get RGB signal from these consoles, do I need to get a RGB Scart to Sony PVM Monitor Converter (BNC):

Do I need anything extra (sync striker, or additional part/add-ons) for getting an RGB image?
And then for each console get its own RGB to SCART cable?
PS1 RGB to SCART

PS2 RGB to SCART

GameCube RGB to SCART

2) How can I adjust the geometry, size, position and other picture aspects on my PVM-14L5
3) Is there going to be a huge difference between Component and RGB on PVM-14L5? I mean the image quality and the pronounced scanlines on this monitor (both PS2 and GameCube) are amazing, so much so that if I didn't know that it was connected via component cables, I would have thought it was a RGB.
4) Necronopticous is correct when he says that 14" is a pretty descent size, since I have been using my Commodore 1084-S for a long time, and I never regarded its image size too small.
Thanks for your kind comments and recommendations.
