Since there are lot of members here who are into retrogaming, how many are familiar with Game Sack on Youtube? I just discovered this and I love it! I mainly watch through my PS3 and their game footage are AWESOME! These two guys are pretty knowledgeable, too.
Does anyone know of any similar Youtube series?

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned these guys before now. Most of the episodes are shmup related too.
Great show.
Great show.
Re: Game Sack on Youtube
I enjoy how they cover so many games (plenty of which I've never heard before), however at times I wish they would go a bit more indepth with some games instead of just glancing over them. Their Nintendo VS Sega fanboy arguments aren't really that funny but overall they seem genuine enough.
Their thoughts on Battle Garegga certainly rised my eyebrow to say the least. "Like all other Raizing games I've played, this game is insanely easy". Hmm.

Several of their Garegga clips are them simply dying, and at least one I think has used 6 continues. I certainly hope they don't think it's 'easy' because you can credit feed it.Ebbo wrote:Their thoughts on Battle Garegga certainly rised my eyebrow to say the least. It's painful to watch them dropping so many medals while saying it's easy.Ebbo wrote:Their thoughts on Battle Garegga certainly rised my eyebrow to say the least. "Like all other Raizing games I've played, this game is insanely easy". Hmm.

Re: Game Sack on Youtube
That is always the worst. If you ever watch these goobers on youtube who just collect every-game-ever they'll often say that. "I recently picked up Deathsmiles. I've already beat it; it was pretty short." -Pete Dorr quote.BareknuckleRoo wrote:Several of their Garegga clips are them simply dying, and at least one I think has used 6 continues. Game Sack is pretty enjoyable, although they're a bit awkward with how they write their script sometimes.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.
Re: Game Sack on Youtube
Didn't know about them and just watched their 'left in the arcades' episodes. They were fairly entertaining. To me, they're just 2 guys who enjoy gaming. I don't see them as experts on anything.
Re: Game Sack on Youtube
Yeah, my sentiments exactly. I watch their eps as they come out, but they have low-budget "let's do this for the hell of it"-kind of feel to them. It's alright for what it is.null1024 wrote:Game Sack is pretty enjoyable, although they're a bit awkward with how they write their script sometimes.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Classic Game Room, http://www.youtube.com/user/InecomCompany?feature=watch , Mark has a pretty good sense of humor.GateofThunderforceIII wrote:Since there are lot of members here who are into retrogaming, how many are familiar with Game Sack on Youtube? About Game Sack, I have watched most of their episodes & they are pretty much enjoyble but sometimes, heck I will say most of the time they fail to represent the quality & impact of certain important games. Sometimes they will review many odd & mediocre games with great care but will leave quality titles for montage!!
