You know - one thing that draws me into a game is a good logo. My favorite logo by far is R-Type II's. I was also pretty struck by X-Multiply and Gradius Galaxies.

I just love the way the R-Type logo exudes all these different 'moods'. It looks cold and sterile and alien.

Do any of you have a particular favorite logo?

Gotta love Sexy Parodius(that is Sexy, and not another one?). Elephants, promiscuous-looking penguins, and lots of pink; Yea, that's a hard one to top.

I've always liked Soukyugurentai's logo. I just love the audacity of that big bold kanji starin' down at you.

Well, it is an old Psygnosis game. Roger Dean is a god. I wonder if he did that one, too?

Darius series: The bold metallic font and the slight tilt to the logo give it a general sense of urgency. In Darius Gaiden, the logo beams into the title screen in a cool fashion.

Armed Police Batrider's got a nice look to it, what with the Armed Police part all professional looking and you've got Batrider looking badass. I like how the 't' and 'r' form together.

I've always liked the Gradius logo. Looks so mechanical, un-feeling -- just like the games.
