Here are the dipswtich settings for the classic Raiden DX PCB:
http://www.arcade-museum.com/dipswitch- ... /9245.html
The above link includes another link to d/l the Raiden DX Operator's manual in pdf. format as well.
Or better yet, grab it here:
http://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-vi ... n%20DX.pdf
Enjoy.
FYI: Page four of the Raiden DX manual describes a bit about the battery back-up on a typical Raiden DX PCB setup (and applies to the earlier Seibu Kaihatsu produced Raiden II PCB as well if an on-board back-up battery is present as well). Of course, some Raiden II and Raiden DX PCBs came shipped without said back-up battery installed (so the above info may not apply in your case).
I have a feeling at one point, the back-up battery was used to save such high scores and high score initials if powering down for the night but haven't seen any working Raiden II PCB with the battery installed do so nowdays. I've only come across a single instance of a Dynamo cab with a Fabtek USA region Raiden II conversion kit installed that did save such high scores and high score initials for posterity but that was at the Circus Circus casino's arcade based out of Lake Tahoe, Nevada, back in February of 1994-1995. Could such eprom saving magic be done nowdays with Raiden II and/or Raiden DX PCBs?
On the other hand, it's been mentioned that the back-up battery on a typical Raiden II/Raiden DX PCB was primarily designed for security/anti-hacking reasons but Seibu never implemented it.

It's only right that you should get that mushi Chi, considering the time you put into it. So sad that all this stuff is gone tho, I remember when that mushi was first installed. The memories.

Nice. It took quite a while for me to find a Rezon myself. Very cool game for those who can appreciate the R-Type School of Shmups.cools wrote:Picture borrowed, Rezon!

Jealous! Did you get one of the boards that came up on YAJ recently? They seem to be quite expensive unfortunately.system11 wrote: Legend Of Valkyrie

It was from G-Front, not cheap. Had quite a few repairs too, not amazing quality SMT rework. I might actually get hold of a second oneDave_K. wrote:Jealous! Did you get one of the boards that came up on YAJ recently? They seem to be quite expensive unfortunately.system11 wrote: Legend Of Valkyrie
