I wouldn't buy one, but they're perfectly fine for going in and having a few games. I've been doing pretty well on DOJ so far, so I'm used to the skyscraper aspect ratio now.

But what's this about PGM2 bugs?! I haven't noticed anything so far, please tell?

Good night last night?

I, too am temporarily leaving London in the very near future, so if I don't get another chance to say it for some reason, Merry Xmas to one and all!

The best bit was when the limo driver figured out we weren't his real passengers and we thought the game was up and those biker chicks pulled up and said they'd get us out of there if we weren't stingy with the coke at their warehouse party.

1, Invincible time after a hyper triggered is much shorter than the original version. Try stage 2 boss in scoring style.
2, Stage 5 mid-boss Rankou chain break. Using hyper doesn't help.
The newer version of Chinese Leaderboard is here! Check it out :>

I liked the bit where you and CHI fought with Brian Blessed down that side alley. After what Blessed said to JDE he deserved all he got. However, I do regret breaking into Hamely's and doing what we did with those Furbys. Poor bastards. The never stood a chance.

Very interesting to know, thanks for that. I don't know if these bugs have even been noted on the official thread here. Personally I'm not a good enough DOJ player for these to affect me, especially WL ver., but good to know anyway. Thanks.

I'll let Casino crew have their thread back now. ;)

Sorry I could only join you chaps for half an hour but it was a good half an hour. I didn't think I'd have time to demonstrate the Cleveland Steamer with that barmaid and actually wash up afterwards, but I'm glad you guys got to see it.

Have a good christmas everyone.

I'm off to Norfolk for a week. Last time I was there I found a House of the Dead 4 cab that gave out 4 credits for a pound. They also had Sega's Golden Gun - but it wasn't switched on.

Ok boys, so i've been thinking which some of you may know, i still have 19 days holiday which i need to take before 1st April 2013...

Question: Who's up going to Nanning :?:

My personal plans are, i'll be in Hong Kong 1st/2nd week of March 2013 doing personal things (visits, paying respects, chilaxing, hook-ups, partying and maybe some shopping), will be celebrating my birthday on the 16th, 18th pop over to Nanning for about 7-10 days, than back to Hong Kong and back to London... nothing has been confirmed, options are open

I'm just throwing this out to see who's up for this :?:

Regs,

No dates are concrete at the moment, I still have a flat to decor and furnish!

What's the prognosis for tonight, population-wise? I'm pretty broke at the mo', so will probably only venture down if there's a full house...

Yeah right! We're all into video games, and I'm also into strategy board games, vinyl collecting and comics. And MX7 is soon to get me into Dungeons and Dragons (I just thought I'd let you know MX7). You'll find plenty of fellow nerds!
Astraea FGA Mk. I wrote:It might be like school and the cool kids won't let me play with them
Don't worry - we're a friendly, welcoming bunch! And we're far from cool, apart from hzt, who is so cool he makes Taratino's classics look like episodes of Emmerdale.

As for tonight... I only got back from my NYE in Barcelona in the early hours of this morning, so I just need to go home and sleep. Sorry to be lame!

I might just watch you guys play the first visit as I'll probably crash into the first enemy if I'm being observed, so I'll pick a game, go home and practice, come back and crash into the first enemy.

Don't worry Astrea :) , I was making the point (as I've done before) that there is no positive association with the term 'nerd' and that you can't generalise or tar people with the same brush. Generalisations are generally wrong

Who's down this week then? I'm free Thursday, as usual. Might even be there early (no promises). I'm interviewing that Phil Harrison that afternoon in central London.
