Nintendo so had this coming. Can't wait for that damn region lock to be defeated.

It's about damn time that the 3DS was cracked. It shouldn't be too long for the region lock issue to be bypassed with ease.

And will it be possible to downgrade to a lower 3DS fw setup if needed?

This hack applies to the 3DS-LL and 3DS-XL platforms as well, right?

There's the 3DS game of Code of Princess with it's unique take on the RPG & fighting genres all whipped up into a slick package. The USA release of CoP comes with a cool bonus OST music CD as well.

I think what he means is the game used for the exploit is distributed on a physical 3DS card as opposed to eShop download.

Excellent news. Cheers for pointing this out Friendly. I've not been in touch with much of that scene of things lately as Wii development has more or less stalled, but it's good to see that Ninty's products are getting some hacker's attention. 3DS homebrew/emulators on the go if that were to happen could be very interesting.
