When the price tags for the same flavor of instant noodles of the same brand is different in the same vending machine. How trippy to end up paying an extra coin.
This is my signature. It's so unique, nobody else has it.

When Management Screws Up: Guys, we're supposed to be a team here, we have to watch each others' backs, go the extra mile, catch each others' mistakes! If you've got time to breathe then you've got time to find something random to quadruple-check, no matter how busy it's been , that's no excuse! Sometimes it really seems like nobody really cares around here...I honestly don't know what else to do to motivate you!

When Anyone Else Screws Up: What're you looking at me for? We're all adults here, nobody's gonna be looking over your shoulder for you; that's not my job, I've got my own work to do! And you KNOW we've got people from headquarters coming; when they ask "what's this?" I'm not gonna say anything, YOU explain to them what happened, not my problem! When they're doing their reviews, boy...I hate to think what they'll write down when they get to your section!

I hate when people tell me something I bought was a waste of money. It makes me want to dropkick their teeth down their fucking throat and make it look like a Sarlaac pit.

I pay my class fees, phone bill, and my part of the rent on time every time or earlier. I put gas in the family car. I help pay for groceries. All before I buy wants.
When I do buy things I want, I make sure I don't over do it. I never impulse buy and I calculate EVERY bill before I leave home to buy the items. If I'm satisfied with the purchase I made with MY money that earn from MY job, who in the bloody fuck has the authority and some apparent money spending talent to dictate what I wasted my paper on?
I hate that horseshit more than most things people can say. It's like when someone calls something popular overrated. All that is doing is putting an irrelevant unqualified opinion on a pedestal. Because some unaffected twat doesn't like/care for it means it's not worth ANYONE'S interest, basically. It's repugnant.

Yeah, I was gonna say, if it was mothers in general and not mine, then I don't see the insult there. Like Kix cereal, "it's mother approved" 8)

I get this quite a lot too. Since I buy a lot of Blu ray movies, sometimes quite expensive blu ray movies. Thing is though, I've done the car thing. I've tried to do the house thing but its too expensive. Besides, I can't own a house and do all these things at the same time. I know people that all they care about is fancy cars, big homes and family. But for me that don't cut it in life, although I appreciate those things they are not "must have" things which make my life rosey. I would much prefer to get a blu ray in the mail everyday than have a Ferrari/Mercedes. Although I would like a big house if possible. I come from a broken family that is small.

If we were all the same, life would be shit.

Or when management says: I can't babysit you regarding Time & Attendance/Overtime issues. It's the same ol' story. Lately, management been cracking down on folks for overtime issues. I can understand if I were in their shoes with overall store budget regarding employees. Time, after all, is money.

And why is it that management tends to understimate just how much time it takes to complete a job task assigned to an employee? Have they tried doing the same job that an employee does (and they'll finally learn to see the true colors of what it takes to get the job done properly and not that of a half-assed one)?

I usually say something like "it's a waste of time" or "it's a waste of money," if I am asked to give my personal opinion on something or if you bring something up to me. I tend to be honest and direct for the most part. For example, this chick at work suggested I should work out and start eating healthy, but, to me, that stuff is boring and a total waste of my time, so I said, "Screw it, I'll race ya to the buffet line because there's no way in hell I will ever work out for fun. It's boring. Actually, I really hate running. You wanna see me unhappy and miserable? It's on the day I'm working out. There better be something good, some kind of reward at the finish line for me to ever take up running."

Someone was telling me about their problems refinancing their overpriced house. Honestly, I didn't give a damn about his financial problems. I'd rather keep conversations light and/or humorous. But since he started blabbing to me about it, I went ahead and said "I'd never waste money on an overpriced house in a dumpy neighborhood... much less to please some broad's ideas of what she wants in life." We then started talking about tacos and burritos (my favourites).

This isn't to say I lead a frugal life and/or make perfect lifestyle choices. Some things I do could be considered downright wasteful, frivolous, and extravagant to others. However, I either a) don't confide in others about what I do in my free time or b) if I talk about something I did, I never ask for their ideas, advice, and opinions. Once it's done - it's done.

By the way, I collect DVDs. Lately, it's been either Criterion Collection or anime, so I can sort of sympathise with others' opinions about spending on that hobby 8)

Damn straight. Sure, if I had some money I'd like a nice car, but getting stuff you want delivered right to your door feels amazing.
also, that is easily the most materialistic sentiment I've ever had, haha

There are very few things I'd consider a real waste of money.
When I do buy things I want, I make sure I don't over do it. I never impulse buy and I calculate EVERY bill before I leave home to buy the items.
Goddamnit, I need this kind of self control, I started to impulse buy at one point and ran out of money awfully quick: even if I still wouldn't consider any of the items a waste, I'd wish I had spread the purchases out over a greater amount of time so I'd be able to have a consistent amount of money available than "oh ass, I'm broke for the next month".

I simply stopped buying stuff I want, although my Amazon wishlist is awfully long now...
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

Import a music CD from Japan, discover the bonus DVD inside is region-locked, rage.

I'd better be able to watch this on my PS2 or something.

Every fucking time I buy a Noctua cooler, I have to wait a few days because I forget to get the special updated version with the extra pieces of metal shit that let it mate with the new LGA-whatever from Intel. I knew I didn't have everything together. At least I made sure the motherboard and CPU were compatible, at least

I didn't even bother filling out the form at Noctua for the free kit because they straight-up ignored me last time and it's a pain in the ass to do. I'll probably do it later when I have some time for the free kit, which I might resell or something to make up some of the loss.

Pretty annoying not to be able to finish everything up right away, though.

Also the Phantom 820's front panel was damn hard to get off - one of the six plastic snaps just wouldn't budge far enough. Finally got it without breaking anything. Then I discovered a few extra pieces inside the case...it looks like it'll be nice once I get it all sorted, though.

You can usually change the region of the player on your PC/Laptop, but only a limited number of times (5?)

I know, but I have no idea if it locks the hardware itself after you've used up those times or only for the operating system and hence a reinstall unlocks it, and either way is an unnecessary pain in the ass.

What really annoys me the most these days is all these retail stores pushing their 'rewards' programs.
It's not just the big major retailers either...even the smaller stores have their stupid loyalty programs in place.
I feel like I'm at Gamestop whenever I buy something these days..."hello sir, do you have a rewards number with us?"

It's really easy to region unlock most DVD players. Google search your model and you might be able to.

I have two low-end Philips DVD players. Those are the easiest to region unlock. I've never had an issue with not being able to play a DVD from another region - ever. It's why I don't upgrade to Blu-Ray. For those players, it's a hardware issue and I'm not about to fuck with soldering stuff into a player.

Two things annoyed me to bits this past week:

1. People reminding me they don't give a damn about me. Example: Some know I am not from Mexico and they keep nagging me, asking me where I am from. Once I do tell them, they soon forget. During conversation, they'll go, "You're from that place..." and they'll start reeling off every country in Latin America waiting for me to say something. I once mistakenly told a person my father was deceased and the reason. She then brings it up in conversation with another person and adds a different cause. To me, that's kind of a facepalm moment when I say to myself, "I know better than to bother with these people."

2. Being called "picky" because I won't date chicks with criminal records, financial bankrupcy, baby daddy problems, morbidly obese, unemployed, etc. You know? Normal shit that would draw a big red flag to any other sane person 8)

What annoys me

- Immature girls, who acts or think they're princesses or always right just because they are girls, are snubbish or give you middle fingers or bla bla hands just to piss you off, talk trash or bash you. I've seen wayyyyyyy too many of those in my life's time.

- Bad luck : EXAMPLE : I was playing Hard Corps Uprising doing the no-death on arcade challenge

First attempt: Near the end of the game, car hits powerpole near my house, everything shuts down
Second attempt : no choice so I restart everything, almost at final boss, glitch occurs and kills me
Third attempt : Wrong jump on a boss, fall into a pit.
Fourth attempt : Yeah you get it now

- People who are overall ignorant and stupid.
- Video game reviewers ( the mainstream ones )
- Fanboys / Fangirls because they are biased and bash others who disagree with their opinions ... I mean close minded way of thinking.

Clueless people say stupid shit to me all the time. Whenever someone says that "picky" line to me, I usually respond to that by saying, "Boy, you must think I'm the ugliest, most hopeless, most pathetic, most desperate person you've ever met" 8)

Hearing incessant praise for Tarantino every time one of his films come out. Hearing about all this great music, scenes, dialogue, shots, etc taken from other movies that people normally wouldn't give a damn about. Hate.
