Don't diss touhou because it's the "cool" thing to do. This game has some cool patterns and scoring but trust me, the focus system is god-awful and makes maneuvering a mess.

If you're looking for a pirated copy, just go to doujingravity. Keep in mind that you need to English patch it which involves patching the game to version 2.0. Or you could ask me for a copy.

I've already said this but there is a second delay between going from unfocused to focused.

...which is pretty much what a ton of shmups do for example Futari.
It is intentional and perfectly normal.

I played a bit last night, just with the keyboard, and the controls aren't too bad. I would like to play with a joystick though, which I'll try out tonight.

The music is probably the least impressive part, it's pretty generic stuff ... but the backgrounds are good and enemies and patterns are interesting.

Challenge was good, even just on easy mode. Normal mode looks like it will be difficult but with practice not too hard.

The story was interesting, I didn't realize there were different twins you could choose with different paths for each. The English translation is very well done, I actually enjoyed reading the dialog.

Hey everyone, just wanted to post what I have done so far for TWilight INSanity!

Yeah, some time ago (I first did this back at Dec. 7th of last year, but that video messed up, so I had to re-do the video elsewhere, which I did today), I managed to get my 1st Hard Mode Route C 1cc w/ the Hoshimi Twins! It was pretty intense, and it took about 2 weeks to get, give-or-take, back when I was working on it, but it was fun to do, and sure was worth it! I was quite pleased to get it, especially when I didn't think this particular run would succeed, of all things!

Yeah, I also got a No Miss 1cc of TWilight INSanity Normal Route C with the Hoshimi Twins as well, which I was also quite pleased about getting! I had a video for it as well, but that video messed up, unfortunately, so I actually have to re-do that one. However, for the time being, I do have a screenshot to give you, at least. You'll also see me in the online leaderboards for the TWilight INSanity Normal Mode category with the Hoshimi Twins under the name Purple. I'll get to re-doing the video sometime soon.

For this one, I No Miss, No Auto Tension up to Maya's True Final Attack, then unfortunately, I messed it up on her True Final Attack. I 1cc'd it, of course, that isn't at all hard to do, but yeah, I lost 1 life to Maya's True Final Attack, which sucks, as that was my only miss for the Sequel stage, but yeah. There's more I like to do for this one, especially in regards to Maya's Final Attack. Hopefully, when I get back into working on this one again, I'll get the No Miss 1cc, with Maya's True Final Attack captured without getting hit and no tensions and autotensions used! For now, though, this'll do.

Well, that's that for now! There's plenty more to do in this game, for sure, but I'm currently giving this one a break. The next time around, though, which would be sometime soon, I'll want to play as the Saijou Twins!
