I don't think I've ever conversed with Emphatic, although his posts are usually enjoyable. I just didn't feel any condescention in his post, and thought it was pretty obvious what he was mistaken about. And I thought adding "Are you on drugs" to the end of my post would make me look cool

Why would he be talking about black label? Most people have been talking about getting DLC that was for 1st print run only. It was obvious to everyone here but you.

EDIT: To add to the conversation though, I think I'll pass on this collection but then again, it all depends on the price tag. I already own all of the games that are included (except for Muchi Muchi Pork / Pink Sweets but those games don't appeal to me) so if I would buy this it would be for the LE exclusive DLCs that I don't own.

The way a lot of users act on this forum is a real shit way to act. It's so hard for some people to realize there's an actual person sitting on the other end of their flames rather than some abstracted thought or opinion floating in space, that somebody with thoughts and real feelings sat down and typed words and what they typed may just be a small, slim slice of a whole human being.

Welcome to the Shmups forum. Where poser douchebags attack anyone who criticizes Cave for anything, even the god awful Ketsui box art, but then in a complete bout of hypocrisy call you names for purchasing a collection of games from the same company. My new running theory...this forum is actually comprised mostly of wannabes whose "collections" consist solely of the US PSX version of TFV, a battered Gamestop-sticker-covered copy of Ikaruga for Gamecube, Deathsmiles & Akai Katana (purchased ONLY once Amazon clearanced them out at $14), and a pdf print out of Radiant Silvergun's instruction manual. They then run around this forum acting like they own the place and attacking those of us who are actually supporting the genre and it's developers' current releases.

Undoubtedly I'll be banned for this great atrocity of speaking the truth while others STILL remain unscathed for throwing obscenities around just a few pages back. But given the recent behavior of this place I really don't care if I post here anymore or not...

Well, if you want to yell at Ketsui's box art and so forth I am not going to stop you. I'm not worried about what other members on a shootemup forum purchase or don't purchase. I merely brought up this point towards the beginning of the topic, questioning whether or not this is really a profitable decision for Cave, since Cave fans are going to really be the only people who buy it. It practically is the cost of a low-end PCB. Now yes, I'm a Cave fan and would like this, but I'm not going to - not at this price nor do I even have a J360. The discussion, as any discussion about Cave, often turns to how they run the company or how they should run the company to be more profitable, and while having a core group of fans that buys everything Cave is nice and all, it can't be the only thing. If someone like EOJ can get burnt out and close down his site dedicated to Cave, what about those who can't even 1CC a Cave game?

It's a way to make short-term profit, but if you do that too much you lose in the long run.
