No, that's how much extra I had to pay due to him bidding on it. If he hadn't jumped in it would have been 5k less.

Well... "STV tax" is a quite suitable term for it then... Nevertheless, great get!

At least you didn't buy it directly from Steve, this way you "just" spent more, but not to him directly.

Long time no PCB, but I finally aquired a legit Flying Shark PCB:
Been after one for 4-5 years. It's not that they're particularly rare or expensive, I just always got outbid, forgot the auction, or it turned out it was a bootleg.
This is also the last Toaplan PCB I wanted in my collection.

I finally got the last of the 80's PCBs I wanted - I have mainly collected games that lack proper conversions.
Even the 64-bit mame build is not quite as satisfying as the real PCB.
Not to mention how beautiful it is in real arcade CRT monitor!

150€. I had an alert on ebay, and waited almost two years for a decently priced board come up. I used to skip school to play this game, back in 1989

Nice! I just got the exact same kit last week! The price definitely stings, huh? But it's the good kind of hurt.

Grabbed me a Brave Blade. For some reason I really like the graphics and setting in this one.
Also, I managed to find really awesome boxes for my boards and now they're stored all nicely and are easily accessible:
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

I know it's a tongue-in-cheek reference, but wouldn't the middle finger be more suited in this case?

Hey trap, how much did you nab ibara for (if you dont mind me asking)?
I'm thinking of picking up my first cave board, and since I know Ibara is one of the cheaper ones..
