Sega Saturn RGB JAPAN 21 PIN Cable for XRGB-3

I have been researching this for a few weeks now and have not been able to find a straight forward answer. I have a Sega Saturn Model 2 NTSC USA and I want to connect it to my XRGB-3.

My Questions:

* Does the Sega Saturn need any special modding to be able to work with a S-Video Cable or RGB Japan 21 Pin Cable?

* Where can I purchase a RGB Japan 21 Pin cable for the Seag Saturn? Everything I found online is for either EURO Saturn Systems or for EURO TV ports. I would like be able to have a single cable to use without the need of a EURO to JAPAN 21 Pin adapter.

* For the Sega Saturn, is RGB basically a must? Would RGB for the system be a BIG jump in quality over S-Video?

no, since both cables were officially available from Sega.

Maybe getting a custom made one is the easiest. Or get a EU one and have it changed to JP layout. The japanese JP21 ones aren't this easy to find. Maybe inquire at someone with access to Yahoo Japan auctions.

I have both the S-video and JP21 cables for my saturn and I use S-video because I do not notice any difference between the two and RGB is a bigger hassle to get to work on my setup.

I was able to get a cable online from a seller. They were selling EUR cables but I asked if they could make the cable JPN 21 PIN for me. They said they could and shipped me out the cable. I got the cable today. I wanted to make 100% sure the cable was JPN 21 PIN before plugging it into my XRGB-3.

Can someone please confirm that the pinout on the cable is correct? I looked at some drawings of how the pinout should look like but it didn't make sense to me.
