I'm no coffee snob, usually I drink whatever, but a co-worker brought in some Ethical Bean coffee today...man, that stuff tastes amazing!
It was also the light roast, which apparently has more caffeine than the dark roasts due to less burn-off. Now I'm wired and in happy-tasting-bliss! bzzz bzzzz
My work buys cases of Tim Horton's coffee out of the back of the place from the manager, so what we have is exactly like what you get at Tim Hortons, they even bought the same brewing machines.
Shame, I don't like Tim Hortons coffee. Still drink it though. I like really strong coffee, Tim Horton's tastes watered down to me.
At home I drink whatever the missus buys, usually Maxwell House or the like, but occasionally she grabs fancy ones. My personal favorite is Blue Mountain, we get it from this organic place; relatively cheap, but having to grind it, especially in the morning, can be a bit of a pain, but it's tasty.

I saw McDonalds now sells their grounded coffee in bags. I like their coffee, as well as Tim's. might have to stock both now!
Since I couldn't find any Wiser's Small Batch,I'm spending my night with some Wiser's Spiced Whiskey. It's not bad. Fairly smooth, but the fumes burn something awful.

In honor of Murakami, I picked up a bottle of Cutty Sark. For cheapo scotch, the taste is fine, but my belly raises objections. Beats the hell out of Canadian Club, anyway.
Any suggestions for low-to-mid range scotch? My go-to has been J. Walker Red Label.
